Last July Dan I made the trek (by car) from Chicago to Buffalo, NY to visit his parents for the 4th of July. His sister and grandparents came also which was a lot of fun. We had many adventures while there but my favorites were; antiquing with Dan’s mom & grandma, visiting the botanic garden and watching Guinness, the family pup, took her first swim in the pool. She is also an excellent tennis player, as you will see!
Lunch & antiquing at The Roycroft Campus in East Aurora, New York. It is the best preserved and most complete complex of buildings remaining in the United States of the “guilds” that evolved as centers of craftsmanship and philosophy during the late 19th century.
Guinness is itching to get in the game!

The creek behind the Ahern’s house…
She’s thinking, “Should I do it?! hmmm”
Once she went in, we couldn’t get her out!
