Jennifer & U-Xinn are so fantastic and so was their Armour House wedding. My dear friend Kacey approached me about co-shooting a wedding for a friend of a friend and I was only too excited to get to work with her. Together we captured the day and got some amazing images if I do say so!
The Armour House at Lake Forest Academy is so stunning and classic. The architecture is really beautiful and every corner made for a beautiful backdrop. The details Jennifer picked out complimented the space well as did her color scheme. Jennifer describes one of her favorite moments of the day:
“After the ceremony and the recessional began there was a moment where we were greeted by a glass of champagne at the end of the garden on the steps into the mansion. From
there, U-Xinn and I were able to turn and look at all our guests, friends & family as our bridal party recessed towards us. As each member of the bridal party joined us at the foot of the steps with their champagne (or lemonade for the kiddies) we toasted and cheered before all the guests walked down the gardens. This was really special for us, because it was a moment to just be with the bridal party and each other for the first time as husband and wife.”
To say this wedding was romantic is an understatement. Jennifer & U-Xinn met at Drake University as undergrads & pride themselves on having countless adventures. As avid travelers, they couple have traveled all around the world together. In fact, they got married at the Tahj Mahal in India!
A special thanks to Kacey Grant, of Creative Catalyst Arts, for including me on this wedding! Jennifer & U-Xinn, I wish you a lifetime of happiness, health, wealth & adventure!
